“Cle Elum Reflections” and “Box Canyon Creek’ are vibrantly saturated depictions of the rocky riverbeds from the mountainous riparian environments in Kittitas County. After spending days wading through these diverse microsystems, I felt inspired to capture the colorful rocks and hypnotizing flow of the water in a series of paintings from my favorite locations I visited while working as a fisheries technician.
